Cash For Gold Expands Dramatically Due to High Market Prices

The latest economic struggles, along with the record high prices for gold, silver and platinum have dramatically increased the number of people who are selling their unwanted or broken precious metal jewelry. You now have the best opportunity in decades to get paid for items like gold watches, broken gold, gold jewelry, gold coins and scrap gold items. Things that you think have no value or that are just sitting around collecting dust might very well provide you with much needed cash during the current economic downturn. Your items are in demand from the refinery of CJ Environmental who runs the Cash for Gold USA program.

All you have to do to be a part of the Cash for Gold USA program is request a free GOLDPAK by going to cash for gold usa. com and asking for one. Upon receipt of this safe, secure mailer, just place all the gold, silver or platinum items you want to sell, even if they are broken and no matter what the karat grade. Then send these items without any concerns because the Cash for Gold USA's GOLDPAK is insured against damages or loss. You will receive fast cash for these items following their assay and valuation by the buyer. You can also get an estimated value if you don't want to send your items right away and want to check how much you will get for them first. You can send earrings, chains, gold coins and even Gold Watches.

The Cash for Gold USA concept is relatively new and unique. In the past, only brokerage firms and companies where allowed to trade gold. Today, with the demand for gold increasing, the general public can also sell their gold items. Why not, if you never use them? The idea is a very good one that will help both sellers and the refinery make more money.

Many people have old gold watches and other gold jewelry lying around gathering dust. Some might be broken gold items like chains, watches or earrings and some might be family heirlooms that have been passed down, but that are not wanted. Instead of just throwing them away or having them lie around in a drawer, get fast cash for them right away. Your GOLDPAK features a tracking number so that you can check on the status of your property at any time on the Cash for Gold USA website. You can also keep track of the check that you will receive while it's on its way to your mailbox.
CJ Environmental offers cash to consumers looking to sell unwanted gold or platinum items such as used, used or broken jewelry, gold bars, gold solder, ingots, links, nuggets, shot, gold or platinum or anything else containing gold. CLICK link to get 20% MORE!

Gold Stocks - 43,101 Reasons to Leverage the Alchemy Created by MCOON

Would you trade in your Washington paper (currency) for Wall Street paper (stocks)? Right now it might be hard to trust either. But there is an upside to this economic mess if you plan strategically, and treat both types of paper like Indy car tires that need to be changed out in a pit stop from time to time when their usefulness is spent. During the course of this race, which I will map out for you in detail after an introduction, there are only two simple pit stops before the final finish.

There is a raging debate going on amongst economists, both of the Keynesian and Austrian persuasions, as to whether the economic slump is leading us toward a true deflation or an eventual hyperinflation. If the economy is mimicking the Great Depression, is one argument, then cash is king, and dollars (the reserve currency of the world) are where you should be vested. Steer clear of the stock market. Wait on the sidelines until market sentiment is so negative that there is a pervasive attitude of apathy and indifference. This will be the turning point, if that can be prognosticated.

The other side of the argument says that no way are we headed for a depression-style deflation, but rather an extremely inflationary environment, the likes of which we have never before beheld (except in third world countries). This is based upon the monetary and fiscal policies that the current administration and their eager counterparts at the Fed are engaging in with their rescue packages, bailouts, economic "stimuli," and the dreaded last ditch effort of quantitative easing, a.k.a. debt monetization or MCOON (money created out of nothing.

You don't know which camp is right. The so-called experts called it all wrong, including the dead-head Fed heads, Alan and Ben. 'Span tinker-toyed with the interest rate all the way down to 1%, and 'Anke is following suit (bettering it to 0-.25%), ignoring cause-and-effect linkages of his predecessor's actions. Arbitrarily setting the interest rates has had and will have disastrous results. When there is a finite supply of something, such as gold, silver, oil, and other natural resources, fixing its price in the market place instead of allowing it to follow a natural supply-demand curve, ends up causing shortages. However, in fixing the price of money to an artificially low rate, instead of causing shortages causes its "real" value to diminish. This is because of the printing press and MCOON. There is an ability for the Fed to literally make money in amounts that you cannot comprehend. Do you know how much even $1 trillion dollars is? You may think you do (a one followed by twelve zeros), but you have likely never personally experienced more than .0001% of that amount ($100,000) at any one time. MCOON is a catalyst for inflation because it follows the natural law that states the more available anything becomes the less rare it is, and the less will be its intrinsic value. Thus, in the exchange of goods or services, you are required to pay increasingly more units of currency than before to make up for the worth(less)ness of each unit.

The game is to beat the central bankers by thwarting their efforts at taxing your wealth by MCOON (thus devaluing your dollars). Gold is the central bankers' worst enemy. Listen to Greenspan speak about gold before his appointment as Chairman of the Federal Reserve: "In the absence of the gold standard, there is no way to protect savings from confiscation through inflation... this is the shabby secret of the welfare statists' tirades against gold. Deficit spending is simply a scheme for the confiscation of wealth. Gold stands in the way of this insidious process. It stands as a protector of property rights. If one grasps this, one has no difficulty in understanding the statists' antagonism toward the gold standard." The father of Keynesian Economics, John Maynard Keynes, called gold a "barbaric relic," and said that we were all "dead in the end" anyway.

If central banks were made up of alchemists, with the ability to create gold, they would have. But the next best thing was to slowly withdraw its function (or at least try) and replace it with a substitute medium. This was done first by receipts for gold, and then keeping only a fraction of it in reserve. Eventually, gold was completely replaced by fiat (paper backed only by faith). How long will the faith in the dollar persist?

Here's where the alchemy of gold stocks kicks in. While the Fed is busy printing dollars you can be accumulating gold stocks from solid junior mining companies with good 43-101's. Printing by the fed now may cause a "type" of printing for your gold stock portfolio later. This is pit stop number one for you in the race. Here is where you trade in your low-tread tires (depreciating dollars) for new rubber (gold stocks). But remember, these new tires will wear down, too, and are not to be used indefinitely. Gold stocks will only take you so far, and will serve as your wheels only for a "season." During this time you must have chosen wisely your pit crew (men such as Bob Moriarty, James Sinclair, Jay Taylor, Jason Hommel, and David Morgan) to assist you in changing out your tires.

If you act fast enough, building speed and position (accumulating cash) before the first pit stop, you'll be ahead of the pack, and have a fresh set of tires (buy gold stocks) on before the rest of your competitors make their stops (pile into gold stocks, driving up their price).

Having eventually duplicated your efforts by having a diversified portfolio of junior gold stocks, you now have many sets of wheels (a whole team) on the speedway, and it becomes less important how each individual driver (gold stock) does than what the overall performance of the team is. By diversifying, you increase your odds of winning, and even one driver can make up for many sub par or mediocre ones. Also, second place, third, or even lower is no shame-you still come out a winner.

You see, in this race there will be a season in which the drivers (gold stocks) that have not crashed or gotten disqualified (become bankrupt) will all synergize. The leader will cause a draft big enough for all to fall in line behind and be effectively "pulled" along. Even the little guy's performance will be enhanced. In a season to come you will see surviving gold stocks that started out as pennies per share become valued in the tens and hundreds of dollars per share.

You (and only you) get to choose the next pit stop at this point. Nobody can do it for you. This is the last one before the home stretch. Here is where you trade your gold stocks back in for cash. But this is also temporary. Very temporary. It is only to make sure you are fresh and finish strong. Because almost as soon as you make this trade, you finish the race. Here you trade the cash tires back in for golden tires. This isn't rubber or paper. This is real gold bullion, and these tires are built to last.

And here for the finish line

Wealth Building Thru Gold Investing - It is All About Supply and Demand

I took me a good year and a half to get back into the groove after the pounding I took during the internet implosion of 2000. That was an extremely painful year and I was in no hurry to donate more money to Wall Street. I tried a few of the same old things from 2000 in early 2002 with little success. By late 2002, I discovered Adam Hamilton and the world of commodity stock investing.

Since I worked in high tech, I had seen first hand how tons of money was plowed into anything internet related. Engineers with Power Point presentations had gotten millions of dollars in venture capital money, while capital intensive areas such as mining were ignored. The payback on an internet investment was infinitely shorter than an investment in mining. Mining companies had to find deposits, mine and then sell it. There were environmental and political issues to overcome as well as potential labor problems. With virtually no investments going into mining, it made sense that commodity prices were in the dump.

As I learned more about commodities, I understood why most of Main Street avoided investing in this area. Investing in mining companies have too many moving parts. Not only are you concerned about the company’s fundamentals, but direction of the commodity itself plays a major factor. Gold stocks seldom go up if the gold itself is trending down. There is also political risk. Gold is found in all parts of the world and sometimes the governments play by their own rules. Every now and then, a non-mining friendly government seizes a mine after companies have invested millions in development. Unfortunately, there are many more factors affecting the price Gold. In Adam Hamilton’s latest essay, he list 10 factors affecting Gold’s price.

Many people believe that we are in the second phase of a secular bull market in gold. If that is true investment demand will trump all other drivers; which happens to be the easiest of the factors to comprehend. Basic economics state that when demand exceeds supply, prices rise. Rising prices provide incentive for producers to increase production. However, like already discussed - it takes more than a Power Point presentation to produce Gold. In other words, prices will continue to rise until demand is satisfied.

The question becomes what will cause investment demand too increase. In November 2004, GLD a gold exchanged traded fund (ETF) was listed on the New York Stock Exchange. For the first time investors could purchase gold as easily as purchasing a stock. No more trips were required to the local coin dealer. No more concerns about storage. Simply click a few buttons and you are an owner of gold. GLD has become one of the fastest growing ETFs in the United States.

Not only has GLD provided opportunities for individuals, but also for many institutions like pension funds that were prohibited from directly owning gold. For diversification purposes, it is quite useful to own asset classes that are increasing in value while other aren’t. It is well known that commodities do exactly that - they have a negative correlation to equities. So, GLD becomes an excellent way for institutions to further diversify their assets. A silver ETF was listed in May of 2006 and there is discussion of introducing a platinum ETF in 2007.

That’s all well and good, but it is the demand from Asia that will send gold to all-time highs. Asian cultures have a strong affinity for gold. One’s personal wealth is traditionally determined by how much gold is owned. Indian brides receive dowries of gold often in the form of gold jewelry or gold coins. Indian families store extra income from the harvest each year in gold jewelry. It is truly a fabric of their life.

China is on the verge of becoming the world’s next super power. As Asian investors become wealthier, their ownership of gold will increase. There are literally billions of people in China. It is true that many will not attain the standard of living as enjoyed in the US, but the demand created by hundreds of millions of Asians buying small amounts of gold will be unprecedented.

Yes, that demand will take some time to materialize, but investors in gold are quite pleased today. In 2006, GLD outperformed the S&P 500, 22.5% vs. 13.6%. My preferred vehicle Central Fund of Canada (CEF) a 55/45 mix of physical gold and silver outperformed them both, 37.2%.

I used to try to convince my friends to buy gold by talking about inflation, the decline of the dollar and geopolitics. Now I simply talk about supply and demand.

BTW, GLD was just recently listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange.

World Of Warcraft Gold: To Buy - Or Not To Buy

With the popularity of the game World of Warcraft on the internet, many players are being left behind in what should be called The Gold Rush. Of course the game can be played without having a lot of gold, but it definitely is difficult to do so. In World of Warcraft, gold is almost like your lifeline. It helps you grow, helps you purchase things, gives you edge over your enemies, and most of all, it helps you gain even more gold if you have it.

Unfortunately, it's not as easy to get as one might think. And it's possible that the game's creator made it out to be like that, but many players are turning to alternate sources to find that rare gold. One of these alternate sources include buying the gold with real money from someone they know or from someone that has it advertised on the internet ready to buy. Buying World of Warcraft gold does have it's benefits of course: it will help you get through the game quicker, easier than before, and it will help power level your character. But whether or not one should buy World of Warcraft gold is much to be debated.

First of all, one of the major tasks of the game is to seek out and farm whatever gold you can, and as much of it as you can. If you take away that major task and buy the gold outright from someone who already has it, what is left? Of course there are plenty of quests and journeys in World of Warcraft besides finding gold, but gold is what helps you do that. You take away your need to find gold and you just have one character wandering around in the game.

Second, what is the next thing that will be made into a shortcut? Will someone figure out how to make the quests shorter but produce larger returns so that the character can continue on? What else will be bypassed? By turning World of Warcraft gold into a shortcut, what else will happen to shorten the length of time it takes the character in the game?

If one can play World of Warcraft for hours on end, then why all the hype about buying gold from another player outright? All one has to do is sit down at the game and figure out strategies in order to gain more gold, which will help other aspects of your character throughout the game. It can be thought of as one big thinking, mind game. In real life, you can't always take these shortcuts by bypassing something obvious. No, you have to deal with what you have and enable yourself to make more of what you have if you need it.

On the other hand, if you are one of those many players that have more money than time purchasing gold can actually help you get some more enjoyment out of the game. Bottom line is like with everything there is a good and a bad associated with it. World of Warcraft is no exception to this. So, to really answer the question I see all the time...Should I buy gold or not?

The answer may surprise you....maybe. It all really depends on you and what you want to accomplish in the game.

How To Farm Gold In WOW

Most people are asking how to farm gold in WoW. This should help you out. I will include a list on of some of the ways of farming for Warcraft gold. It is EASY! In the south, middle edge of The Badlands zone, nestled in the small valley, you can farm normal rock elements. These people seem to drop a lot of grey loot which vendors for 50 silver to 1.5 WoW gold, and they drop it at every kill. What they also drop is Elemental Earth which sells at the auction house for 1-3 WoW gold a piece. The average drop is 1 out of 17. Another way of how to farm gold in WoW, is to farm elemental slaves on the west side of Alterac mountains, for the chance to get elemental earths (1 out 15 kills). This goes for about 1-3 WoW gold a piece on AH.

You can also use elemental exiles on the southwest area of Arathi Highlands for elemental earths, which is also the same 1-3 WoW gold per earth on AH. How to farm gold in WoW is to farm in Arathi Highlands for 30 npcs of 2-6 silver each on 3-5 minute spawn timers. Times are not often camped. You could easily generate 1-5 WoW gold – even more if you are an AOE class. You can also farm in Arathi Highlands, as the alliance only, for 30-40 npcs of 2-6 silver each on 3-5 minute spawn timers. These timers are also not often camped. You could easily generate 1-5 WoW gold an hour. How to farm gold WoW? You can enter the secret scarlet monastery graveyard, in tristfall glades northwest corner of the map. This will get you a good 2 silver to 6 silver kill. Nevertheless, an AOE class can easily farm and reset the instance for outstanding 30-60 WoW gold in an hour.

Another way of how to farm gold in WoW, is to farm Warpwoods and Deadwoods for about 2-10 silver, rare herb drops. These sell around 1-5 WoW gold each. Living Essence sells for 1-1.5 WoW gold each at the Auction House. On the north side of Felwood zone near the alliance flight parth person, Warpwoods are located. The Deadwoods can be located just southwest of where the Warpwoods are. An easy 40-80 WoW gold an hour depending on AH prices. If you know how to farm gold in WoW and if you have faster dps class, then you can easily double your WoW gold per hour. Twilight hammer elites in Searing Gorge, is another way to farm. These elites are located west of the alliance/horde flight points. This is an easy 3-5 mageweave cloth per drop, and somewhere around 2silver to16silver per kill, with 9/10 silver, being the most common drop. You can undoubtedly make 10 WoW gold per hour off coin drops and around 5-20 WoW gold p/hour for the green and mageweave drops.

There are many more ways of how to farm gold in WoW. Farm the stockades in Stormwind City for easy greens and wool. It’s the best dungeon/instance to farm wool cloth because every other kill is worth 3-5 pieces of wool and there are about 100 NPCs in the instance. Don’t be alarmed when I tell you that a stack of wool can go from 77silver to 2 WoW gold at the AH. Try farming the scarlet monastery chests and locked chests for large knapsacks. These sell for 1.25-2 WoW gold. Occasionally, you will get a Blue item instead of Knapsacks. You usually get them once every 11th locked chest. Also, focus on the graveyard library and armory. NOT THE CATHEDRAL! Then you could easily get about 8 locked chests an hour and 10 regular ones. For this you’d need a rouge to lock pick or use blacksmithing and use Golden Skeleton Keys. This will require a 150 blacksmith skill.

3 Jewelry Secrets About Gold - Really

1) We have all seen the ads touting "SOLID 14K GOLD." However, this is simply not true as there exists no such jewelry item containing solid 14k gold. Solid gold is as it exists when mined from the earth in an exceptionally pure form. It's entire make up is simply pure gold-or as defined in the modern world; 24 karat gold.

To attain the level of 14k gold, the chemist must dilute the pure 24k (1,000%) gold with a 'specification alloy' of approximately 415%. According to all worldwide acceptable standards- the pure gold has now been reduced to 14k gold, or in many countries .585 gold.

Following this formula, 18k gold must contain 750% pure gold, 250% alloy.

2) "Why did my brand new, solid 14k gold ring turn my finger green? My other 14k gold rings wear fine and are no problem."

There are two MAIN areas in which this problem can occur. Neither one is very nice. One, the ring may have a hallmark inside the shank indicating 14k, but could be anything but...The Jewelers Board of Trade, and the U.S. Customs Service are overwhelmed and undermanned and there is far too much fraud being perpetrated upon an unsuspecting purchaser by dishonest jewelers. Too many known instances whereupon the gold content is very, very low wherein the percentage of alloy simply overwhelms the gold content-thereby making such a "green finger" reaction possible.

Legitimate precious metal manufacturers are never knowingly involved in such nefarious proceedings. However, a shipment of alloy from their chemical company could inadvertently contain certain contaminated metals that could cause your "green finger." This is uncommon, but does exist.

3) "I'm truly confused. We looked at a number of 14k gold rings in well known fine jewelry stores with fine reputations and there seems to be no consistent shade of gold. How do I know which is the best 14k gold?" Excellent question and my answer to that will put your mind at ease.

Most precious metals manufacturers purchase all their metals from well established precious metal laboratories. Since the American market for precious metal jewelry is the world's largest-there are fine jewelry items on display from a multitude of countries with 1000s of manufacturers.

Pure 24k gold is a rather "yucky" color and these special precious metals chemists know exactly how to blend various metals to obtain the 'shade of gold' to their liking. The exception is "specification gold." Large retailers can specify the shade they prefer, and the chemist can create that specific shade with all the proper alloys at his disposal.

Will Gold Outperform Real Estate This Year?

One of the greatest privileges - and prerequisites - of being a successful investor is that you get to be in constant awareness of the way the markets are performing, moving capital into sections of the economy that are performing better than the others, and realizing massive profits as a result ...

And if you are an investor, then you too may be wondering which sections of the economy will be the best performers in the near future.

And if you are a real estate investor who is thinking of buying even more real estate in light of the current trends in the real estate markets in the hope that these trends will stay strong for a long time to come, then you might want to pause and consider this ...

Will the precious yellow metal become the darling of investors all over the world now?

Well, in case you have not already read about it, gold prices have are at a 25 year high, and it is only in the last few months or so that this metal has become a super star performer ...

Considering that gold was called a "barbaric relic" by none other than the great John Maynard Keynes and has long been given up an a benchmark of currency by every country, does it not come as some surprise that the people of the world still choose to love this metal so much that many want to hoard as much of it as they can, even while they can buy other forms of assets?

And if the people are right in choosing gold over other forms of money offered by their Governments, does it imply that people are wiser than their Governments are? And ...

Why do people prefer gold to other forms of money anyway?

The first question may best be left unanswered and to answer the second question, we may want to take a look at the factors favoring gold as a shining investment option...

Gold is regarded as a storehouse of value: Gold, unlike other currencies, shows a remarkable tendency to hold its value and is not subject to inflation like most other currencies. Its purchasing power does not seem to diminish with time.

Gold is rare: Gold production rarely grows by more than 2% a year and unlike most other currencies, little can be done to increase its production rate.

Gold is not controlled by Governments: Gold is free from Government control and Governments cannot change the value of gold in any way.

One question to ask now would be...

Can gold prices keep increasing for a long time?

Well, the answer to that question may not be very clear cut. Some analysts feel gold is overbought and its prices may fall soon, some others see a long term bull market for gold regardless of any short term fluctuations in the gold market.

And in case you are really interested in gold and would like to know what could drive gold prices, well...

Here's one thing that can drive gold prices wild

If people get tired of stocks, mutual funds and currencies which are susceptible to inflation due to any number of things and start looking for a safe haven for their money, then there could be a record influx of capital into gold market as people scramble to hoard as much gold as they can, then this can drive the market to dizzying heights never seen before.

And now, let's take a look at ...

The factors that favor real estate...

With a relatively healthy economy and well paying jobs, more people are now able to realize the dream of owning a home, and this is creating a huge demand for housing.

With the amount of usable land being limited, an increasing population with better paying jobs can mean the housing market will stay healthy for a long time.

But if you want to decide whether to invest in gold or invest in real estate and would like to hear a definitive answer, then you might want to remind yourself that no analysis can claim to be fully accurate ... and even the best analysis may be only a little better than a opinion at times ...

So when it comes to choosing gold over real estate or the other way around, then only your intuition may be your best guide!
