Since joining EDC Gold I get asked nearly every day if EDC Gold is a scam. That is why I decided to write this EDC Gold Review. I joined EDC Gold in July 2007 but I have been doing Internet marketing since 1996. I have seen more than a few scams in my day. Before I joined I made sure I did my research to uncover whether or not EDC Gold is a scam.
For those who don't know EDC Gold was created by Craig Garcia and Michael Corcoran. Michael Corcoran was the co-founder of ReferralWare in 2001 and Craig Garcia was a top producer and speaker with several network marketing companies. Craig and Mike launched Easy Daily Cash in February 2006 and EDC Gold in November 2006.
So how does EDC Gold work? When you join EDC Gold you are essentially purchasing your own software business which includes the resale rights to over 1,000 software products as well as the tools to market them. EDC Gold members also have the ability to earn money with a unique product called Promo Black Box. Promo Black Box was created by EDC Gold and In Touch Media as a product that businesses can use to promote their websites. EDC Gold members earn $495 for each Promo Black Box package sold.
The most popular way to make money with EDC Gold is to sell software and ebook in bundles. The bundles can be sold for three price levels that represent membership in EDC Gold, Easy Daily Cash, and Your New Fortune. When you sell a bundle to someone you are paid using a 2-up compensation plan. The 2-up compensation plan is used to leverage your income so that each sale you make can potentially turn into many more.
Unfortunately EDC Gold is a rather expensive program. The initial price to join is $997 plus $49.95/mo. In addition to this you will be presented with the opportunity to purchase the "Dubbs Marketing Replicated Site" for an additional $39.95/mo. The Dubbs site gives you some additional training videos as well as a new lead capture page to promote. Personally, I don't see the need to charge members for additional marketing materials when the program should include everything you need to get started. The Dubbs site is optional but I would suggest investing in a professional autoresponder as well as putting a side a few hundred dollars for advertising expenses.
While it is very expensive I feel that the training that comes with EDC Gold is well worth the price of the membership. EDC Gold currently offers 7 weekly training calls and webinars on how to make money on the Internet. If you can't attend the live trainings EDC Gold offers over 100 hours of archived training classes that you can listen to whenever you choose. The owners also make themselves available via telephone 4 days a week to answer any questions and help people get started with EDC Gold.
So far I have been very happy with my EDC Gold membership. I haven't bought any fancy sports cars yet but the system is working exactly as I thought it would and sales are indeed coming in. With the success of EDC Gold a number of copy-cat programs have sprung up over the past year making the market a bit more competitive. Fortunately the owners of EDC Gold have continued to make improvements to their program making it really easy for new members to compete.
So I guess the real question is can you make money with EDC Gold? I hate to break it to you but there is no magic wand that you can wave to make money on the Internet. If you do decide you want to join EDC Gold you must be willing to devote a few hours a day to working the system as Mike and Craig have laid it out for you. EDC Gold is a legitimate business opportunity and it is definitely not a scam. You can earn a very good income with EDC Gold but you must be willing to do the work.
